Hoi Hup-Sunway JV to preview Otto Place executive condo at prices from $1,588 psf

Long-time joint venture partners Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments will preview their latest executive condominium (EC), Otto Place, on July 4.

Located at Plantation Close in the Plantation District of Tengah in western Singapore, Otto Place sits within the country’s first eco-friendly and car-lite town. The 600-unit EC comprises eight residential blocks: one 15-storey block, one 16-storey block, and six 20-storey blocks. The development offers a mix of three- and four-bedroom units.

Indicative pricing for three-bedroom deluxe units (872 sq ft) starts from $1.389 million ($1,593 psf). The three-bedroom deluxe plus study units, ranging from 904 to 936 sq ft, are priced from $1.47 million ($1,626 psf) to $1.556 million ($1,662 psf). The three-bedroom luxury plus study units, measuring 947 and 958 sq ft, are priced from $1.55 million ($1,637 psf) and $1.57 million ($1,637 psf) respectively.

Four-bedroom deluxe plus study units (1,012 sq ft) start from $1.652 million ($1,632 psf), while the four-bedroom luxury plus study apartments (1,195 sq ft) are priced from $1.898 million ($1,588 psf).

Otto Place is a four-minute walk to two upcoming MRT stations — Bukit Batok West and Tengah Park — on the Jurong Region Line, slated to open in 2028. It is just two stops from Jurong East MRT Interchange, which connects to both the North-South and East-West Lines. The site is also conveniently located near the Jurong Lake District and Jurong Innovation District, two major business hubs.

Families will appreciate its location, within 1 km of the popular Princess Elizabeth Primary School. Other nearby schools include the upcoming Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), Dezhong Primary School, Bukit Batok Secondary School, and Dulwich College.

Designed by ADDP Architects with landscaping by STX Landscape Architects, Otto Place has received the BCA Green Mark Platinum (Super Low Energy) certification — the highest accolade from the Building and Construction Authority. All units come equipped with German-inspired Kuche kitchen appliances, Bravat sanitaryware, Hansgrohe fittings, and smart home technology.

Otto Place is the second executive condominium (EC) project by Hoi Hup and Sunway in Tengah’s Plantation District. In November 2024, the developers launched Novo Place, a 504-unit EC located next door. As of July 4, caveat data show that 99% of units at Novo Place have been sold at an average price of $1,655 psf. However, the developer notes that only one unit remains unsold.

Over the past 14 years, Hoi Hup and Sunway have collaborated on seven EC projects, including Otto Place. Their first EC was the 574-unit Arc at Tampines, launched in 2011.

Their second EC, Hundred Palms Residences in Yio Chu Kang, was sold out within seven hours on launch day in July 2017. It has since become the most successful EC in terms of resale performance, with 15 resale units achieving gains of at least $1 million each.

Next came Rivercove Residences, a 628-unit EC in Sengkang, launched in 2018, where 80% of the units were sold on the launch day. The project will reach its Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) on October 2, 2025, after which units can be resold to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

The 496-unit Parc Canberra in Sembawang, launched in February 2020, was 64% sold on launch day and was completed in 2023. In January 2021, the partners launched Parc Central in Tampines, selling 59% of units during the first weekend. The project was completed last year.

E-applications for Otto Place will be open from July 4 to 15, with balloting scheduled for July 18, and sales bookings to start on July 19.
