6th & 7th February 2022 – Chinese New Year Gifting & Celebration @ Penang

Sunway Property Penang continued to spread Chinese New Year blessings through a festive engagement event at Sunway Cassia, Batu Maung. On 6th February, approximately 70 residents at Sunway Cassia were greeted at their doorsteps by lion dance performances and CNY gifts presented by Sunway Property Penang staff. This event allowed Sunway Property Penang the opportunity to celebrate with its communities and strengthen its position as a Master Community Developer. Likewise, the Chinese New Year festivities carried on within Sunway Property @ Anson Gallery on the 7th, this time assuming an internal celebration specially for Sunway Property Penang staff.

7th - 12th February 2022 – Lettuce Sow the Seeds of Love @ Sunway XFarms

Love was definitely in the air during the second week of February, owing to Sunway XFarms’ Valentine’s Day campaign, “Lettuce Sow the Seeds of Love”. Bouquets made from fresh and pesticide-free vegetables grown in the farm were available for orders from the 7th to 12th of February. On the morning of the 14th, Sunway University students helped to harvest the vegetables at Sunway XFarms and arranged them into bouquets to sell on campus grounds. This campaign presented customers with both a nutritious and more sustainable Valentine’s Day gift option over a typical flower bouquet that is often discarded once it wilts.

12th February 2022 – Exclusive CNY Event for Sunway Property PALS @ Sunway GEO Avenue

In an exciting chance to engage with loyal customers, another “Warmest as One, with Sunway Property” Chinese New Year event was held exclusively for Sunway Property PALS (Privileged Advantages for Loyal Supporters) at Sunway GEO Avenue’s Ground Floor. Over 80 attendees enjoyed the entertainment of a live band performance, Chinese face-changing performance, diabolo performance, traditional Chinese handkerchief and fan dances, lucky draw, and an appearance from the God of Prosperity. Attendees were entertained with even more fun at the activity booths, such as rainbow calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting and clay dolls. Furthermore, attendees could indulge in street food, such as oriental flatbread, dragon’s beard candy, tanghulu and ding ding candy.

Besides community engagement, the event was held to attract footfall to Sunway GEO Avenue and promote the Sunway Property mobile app and MySunwayProperty website, a portal designed specifically for Sunway Property PALS to manage their purchased Sunway property. 

17th - 20th February 2022 – Sunway Theme Parks Mega Roadshow

Sunway Theme Parks hosted a nationwide Mega Roadshow at three main venues, including Sunway Velocity Mall, Kuala Lumpur; AEON Mall Tebrau City, Johor Baru; and Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang. At Sunway Velocity Mall, approximately 70 registrants attended the roadshow from 17th to 20th February.

This large-scale campaign was designed to enable online and offline interactions between the community while rewarding them with super exclusive package deals and offers with local brands. In addition, the event promoted the launch of new marketing initiatives, such as the premiere of Sunway Theme Parks Studio. This state-of-the-art online entertainment channel will feature awe-inspiring stories, edutainment and other exciting offers from Sunway Theme Parks and participating business units and partners. With many having faced challenging times of late, the Mega Roadshow could provide audiences with special opportunities to relish in well-deserved staycations at some of the best theme parks and resorts in Malaysia.

21st February 2022 – YB Senator Dato’ Dr. Mah Hang Soon’s visit to SJK(C) Cheah Fah @ Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Johor

SJK(C) Cheah Fah, Johor, had the honour of hosting Deputy Education Minister 1, YB Senator Dato' Dr. Mah Hang Soon for a tour of the new vernacular school, which is equipped with the latest facilities and amenities. Approximately 25 people were present to greet the Deputy Minister, including Gerard Soosay, CEO of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, along with the caretaker of the school, and other staff from the SJK(C) Cheah Fah team. The Deputy Minister’s visit ascertained the readiness of its grand opening and expected launch in March 2022.

24th - 27th February 2022 – Big Property Expo

In a joint property roadshow with other developers, Sunway Property participated in the year’s first Big Property Expo to showcase Sunway Belfield and Sunway Velocity TWO projects. Over the course of four days, Sunway Velocity Mall hosted the expo at its Ground Floor Vanity Atrium, revamped to implement SOP for a safer shopping experience.

25th & 26th February 2022 – Tan Sri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah and Dato’ Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir’s Visit @ Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Johor

Sunway City Iskandar Puteri (SCIP) had the honour of hosting Dato’ Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir, managing director of Khazanah National and Tan Sri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah AO to present the progress of its development in the past six years. Over two days, a total of approximately 60 people attended the showcase, including delegates, who received a briefing from the team at Sunway City Iskandar Puteri.

26th & 27th February 2022 – Exclusive Preview of New Show Unit @ Sunway Velocity TWO

On 26th and 27th February, Sunway Velocity TWO invited Sunway Property PALS, registrants and walk-in customers to its Sales Gallery for an exclusive preview of its new show unit. The 29 groups that visited could also enjoy free coffee and redeem a mystery gift.
