1st October 2022- Sunway Onsen Suites Buyers’ Appreciation Night
A Hawaiian-themed private buyer’s appreciation night was hosted recently at Sunway Onsen Suites in Ipoh as a gesture of appreciation for its new Sunway Property Pals+ members while celebrating the completion of the development.
Attended by almost 400 guests, they were entertained with a host of performances including a live band performance, caricature activities, a fire-eating show, a walkabout magician, mini treasure hunts, a hashtag photo contest, and a poolside party with music. The event ended with a three-minute fireworks display. The guests were also treated to the unveiling of the new Sunway Onsen Suites Premium Suites show unit at Level 5 and were introduced to a new referral programme that offers up to RM 14,000 in referral fees.
1st October- Reward+ Event for Sunway Property Pals+ Members: Exclusive Meet & Greet with PAWsome Adventure @ Sunway Putra Mall
In collaboration with Sunway Putra Mall, Sunway Property Pals+ members and their families were invited to a Reward+ Event – An Exclusive Meet & Greet with the pups of Paw Patrol on 1st October. The exclusive event was dedicated to reward Sunway Property’s buyers, owners, sub-sale owners & tenants of Sunway developments nationwide as part of the Reward+ Initiative under the newly enhanced loyalty programme, Sunway Property Pals+.
45 families who registered had the chance to meet, interact, and snap photos with the all-time favourite superhero pups - Chase & Marshall at the Rescue Knights Castle HQ. Children and parents alike had a blast at the PAWsome event, enjoying mini-games.
1st October- Sunway Alishan Exclusive Private Preview @ Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery
As Sunway Alishan Residences is set to launch in October, Sunway Property marketing & sales team organised an Exclusive Private Preview of Sunway Alishan at Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery on 1st October. The highlight of the event was Sunway Alishan’s invited guests were given the priority to pick their units by balloting. The Private Preview event was accompanied by light refreshments for the customers.
In addition, Sunway Alishan team continued to promote their development with a series of mini-events after the unit selection day on the 1st October. The mini events were held on 2nd October, 8th & 9th October, and lastly on 15th and 16th October at Sunway Alishan Sales Gallery. Garnering a total of 86 walk-in prospects, they succeeded in keeping the momentum & interest of the public on their project.
5th October- Sunway City Iskandar Puteri Go Green
Around 150 attendees joined a mudball dispersal activity to clean Sunway Emerald Lake in conjunction with 100 Days of Johor Bersih campaign. The 100 Day Campaign was part of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri's Go Green initiative- which also included commitment to the 100 Million Tree campaign and introduction to Sunway GRID’s new Recycle Waste Drop-Off Station

The campaign launch was witnessed by the Mayor of Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP) Yang Berhormat Dato’ Haji Mohd Haffiz Bin Haji Ahmad, Iskandar Puteri Low Carbon 2.0 Grant stakeholders, Sunway International School students, Green Earth Society (NGO), and Sunway staff!
Go Green campaign fully reflects the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, - especially highlighting Goals: 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), 14 (Life Below Water), and 15 (Life on Land). The event was also a vehicle in educating our future generation about sustainable actions that benefit the community long run.
15th October- Sunway City Iskandar Puteri Deepavali Cheer
In partnership with Yayasan Zarith Sofiah and The Malaysian Red Crescent Society, the annual Deepavali Cheer continued with Sunway Group’s iconic #SunwayforGood Festive Cheer series on 15th October. This time, we spread joy down south to 140 children from four orphanages across Johor Bahru, joined together by Dato’ Hj Mohd Rashidi bin Hj Mohd Noor, Deputy Chairman, MRC National Committee for Community Services, and Headmistress of SJK (C) Cheah Fah, Madam Chew and the Penolong Kanan, Madam Catherine. The children kicked off the exciting day by having their breakfast at Sunway Hotel Big Box. Continuing with a shopping spree at Sports Direct and watching the exciting, Spiderman: No Way Home. With a round of children’s games and goodie bag giveaway after lunch, the team was grateful to Sports Direct, GSC Cinemas, and BookXcess for sponsoring the meaningful event. As we resume normalcy in this endemic stage, Deepavali and other festivities is finally back in full swing, reflecting the spirit of merriment, familiarity, and reunions. For underprivileged communities, these times can often be lonely as daily struggles persists – that’s why our Group hopes this small effort can bring joy in moments of strife.

18th October- MDA Gala Night @ Sunway Resort Hotel
Sunway Property was awarded the Transformation Award and Top-of-the-Charts Award (for Market Cap RM1 billion and above category) during the Malaysia Developer Awards (MDA) Gala Night held at Sunway Resort Hotel on 18th October.
The MDA are a meticulously crafted accolade that combines the know-how of FIABCI-Malaysia with the might of Malaysia’s omnichannel media, Star Media Group. The Transformation Award acknowledges developers who have resuscitated and rejuvenated old or abandoned buildings, transforming them into purposeful buildings or projects. Whereas Top-of-the-Chart Award is a by-invitation-only award that recognises the best of the best in the property development field.

19th October- Sunway Medical Centre Penang Site Tour @ Sunway Medical Centre Penang
A site tour at Sunway Medical Centre Penang (SMCP) for employees of Sunway Property Penang and Ipoh region was held on 19th October. Employees from both regions visited SMCP to understand the services available in SMCP for future cross-promotion and also to learn the dos and don’ts for the upcoming medical centres in Ipoh and Paya Terubong, Penang. The tour was led by representatives from Project Management, Amelia Victor and Mohd Hafizuddin.
21st October- Penang Region Social Linkage Birthday Celebration @ Spice Market Café, Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa
Sunway Property Penang region had their first outdoor social linkage gathering post-Covid-19 at Spice Market Cafe, Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa on 21st October. The birthday celebration celebrates the birthdays of employees in 2H 2022, with the aim to encourage bonding and interactions among staff. 24 employees enjoyed the seafood buffet spread during the leisure event.
Roadshows @ Mid Valley Exhibition Centre & Sunway Velocity Mall
Sunway Property Central region sales team had participated in two property roadshows to promote their projects in October. The first one was Malaysia Property Expo (MAPEX 2022) at MidValley Exhibition Centre featuring Sunway Alishan, Artessa, Belfield, d'hill Residences, Jernih Residence, Serene & Velocity TWO, which was held from 14th to 16th October.
In addition, the Central region sales team was also involved in the Golden Property Expo at Sunway Velocity Mall, featuring Sunway Alishan, Belfield & Velocity TWO, which was held from 20th to 24th October. Highlights of the roadshow included educational talks for home buyers and kids’ activities, which was the Fun Zone where families could get free ice cream & popcorn.
Treats and Workshops @ Sales Galleries
Trick or Treat? From sharing the treats and learning new tricks, Sunway certainly did not miss the fun of Spooktober.
Sunway d’hill Property Gallery organised “Cool Treats On Us” by giving out Baskin Robins ice cream to customers while they were introduced to the development. On top of that, Sunway Belfield Sales Gallery offered fresh juices from Juice Lab where customers were able to quench their thirst while visiting the sales gallery.
Sunway Artessa Sales Gallery organised a craft workshop “Candle Making Workshop” in the same month, where customers got to explore their inner creativity by making their very own candles.
While people go on a trick-or-treat, Sunway Artessa Sales Gallery also reminded their customers to stay healthy. Hence, they organised “Health Screening Event”, offering a Free Care Pack for their customers who visited their sales gallery.
