10th July 2021 – Zero Waste Virtual Workshop

In conjunction with World Environment Day, Sunway FutureX Farm in collaboration with Sunway Property organised a Zero Waste virtual workshop, and invited speakers Claire Sancelot, CEO & Founder of The Hive Bulkfoods & Nurlisa Su Sy Ei, agronomist of Sunway FutureX Farm. The virtual workshop was held online on July 10th from 9.30am-11.00am via Zoom.

The objective of the workshop was to educate the public on how to adopt a zero-waste lifestyle at home as well as transform food waste into compost to help nourish the planet. The workshop started with a short introduction from Sunway FutureX Farm Community Manager, followed by a talk on zero-waste lifestyle by speaker Claire Sancelot and the basics of composting by speaker Nurlisa Su Sy Ei respectively. There were more than 50 participants who attended the Zero Waste virtual workshop.

25th July 2021- Blood donation campaign @ Sunway Big Box Retail Park, Johor

In collaboration with Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia (PBSM), Sunway Big Box Retail Park organised a blood donation drive at Sunway Big Box Retail Park for a day.  The blood donation drive was organised to replenish the blood banks in Johor.  A total number of 97 blood donors turned up for the donation drive.



28th July 2021-  Sunway Property Corporate Mid-Year Business Update Meeting 2021

Sunway Property recently held its Corporate Mid-Year Business Update Meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams. The virtual event saw the attendance of Sunway Property’s top management and employees (including China & Singapore representatives) as well as SPFM Senior Management representatives. The virtual meeting entails the management updating all employees on company’s performance on the first-half of 2021, and the direction and initiatives for the second half of 2021.  A total of 375 attendees were present during the meeting. The meeting also saw the launch of the Master Community Developer (MCD) Playbook to encourage employees to get involved as ambassadors of MCD.



28th July 2021 - Sunway City Iskandar Puteri’s Business Update Meeting

Sunway City Iskandar Puteri also recently held its Mid-Year Southern Region Business Update Meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams. The virtual event saw the attendance of Sunway Southern Region’s management and staff. The objective of the virtual meeting was to update all Southern Region employees on the company’s performance for the first-half of 2021, and the direction and initiatives for the second half of the year as well as the incoming years. A total of 93 attendees were present during the meeting.

July 2021- 12 staff volunteering at the PPV @ Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre

In support of the COVID-19 Immunisation Programme and to accelerate vaccination efforts for the nation, 12 Sunway Property staff volunteered at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre to offer their assistance at the vaccination centre. Approximately 5,000 to 6,000 people attended the venue on a daily basis to get their vaccination. The Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre has been made rent-free as a vaccination centre for the Petaling District to benefit the community.
