2nd July 2022 – Iskandar Futsal Challenge 2022 @ X Park, Sunway City Iskandar Puteri 

The Sunway City Iskandar Puteri’s Security Department and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) IPD Iskandar Puteri joined forces to organise the Iskandar Futsal Challenge 2022 at the X Park in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri. The event was organised to create a strong working relationship between SCIP and IPD’s multi-department personnel. It’s also in line with Group Security Division (GSD)’s emphasis on an active and healthy lifestyle among our police officers.

Some of the notable attendees include the YDH ACP Tuan Rahmat Bin Arfifin, OCPD of Iskandar Puteri, YDH SUPT Tuan Ibrahim Bin Mat Som, Deputy OCPD of Iskandar Puteri, Department Heads, Officer in Command of Police Stations, Head of Auxiliary Police Agencies, Sunway City Iskandar Puteri’s Security Department, police personnel from the different departments and agencies across the Iskandar Puteri region.

There were approximately 230 attendees in total where 20 teams played against each other to win the championship title. The Mutiara Rini/ Bukit Indah police department came out on top and there was also a 5-minute gimmick match held between the OCPD and Department Heads.

2nd July 2022 – Pelancaran Johor Bersih 2022 Peringkat Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri @ Marina Walk Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri  

To cultivate the State of Johor as the cleanest, liveliest and the most beautiful state, the Pelancaran Johor Bersih 2022 Peringkat Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri event was held to encourage the people of Johor to keep the city clean. The event was organised by the appointed strategic partners namely Sunway City Iskandar Puteri (Sunway Iskandar Sdn Bhd), UEM Sunrise, Eco World, Horizon Hills Development Sdn Bhd, and Iskandar Investment Berhad at the Marina Walk Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri.

The event was opened to the public where they got to take part in activities such as aerobic exercises and zumba. There were also ceremonies like the appointment of Kawasan angkat, Hero Squad and Strategic Partners. The demonstration session for “Electric Sweeper” Plogging Programme was also one of the notable highlights during the event.  

14th July 2022 – GreenRE Award Ceremony @ Avante Hotel

18th July 2022 – Sunway Property Partners ENGIE to Provide Sustainable Cooling Solutions @ Sunway Resort Hotel  

Sunway Property and ENGIE Services Malaysia have entered into a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) agreement to enhance Sunway City Kuala Lumpur’s new integrated waterfront lifestyle hub – Sunway South Quay Commercial Precinct 2 (CP2). 

The 25-year joint venture will see the implementation of a district cooling system that will help lower operating costs as well as effectively rein in carbon emissions for better air quality and energy effectively – in line with Sunway’s steadfast commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). 

21st July 2022 – Used Cooking Oil Collection @ Menara Sunway Refuse Chamber 

To reduce the water pollution and prevent clogged drainage systems, the staff and tenants of Sunway Pinnacle and Menara Sunway came together to contribute their used cooking oil at the Menara Sunway Refuse Chamber. Contributors were rewarded with Sunway Pals Point for their contribution. Total collection for July event was 45.0 kg.  

21st July 2022 – Sunway Malls 25th Anniversary Roadshow @ Sunway Resort Grand Lagoon Ballroom 

To celebrate Sunway Malls 25th Anniversary and to show appreciation to all the business partners for their ongoing support throughout the years, Sunway Malls organised a dinner at the Sunway Resort, Grand Lagoon Ballroom. Over 1,000 guests, including business owners and key players from the retail industry, attended. Sunway Group Founder & Chairman – Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah was present, as well as representatives from Sunway business units, Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA), Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA), Persatuan Pengurusan Kompleks Malaysia (PPK) and media. To further create awareness about Sunway Property’s signature projects, Sunway Property also participated with a booth at the foyer to promote our Exclusive Signature Deals and distributed gift vouchers to the business partners who attended.  

28th July 2022 – Roche x Sunway E-Waste Collection Campaign @ Sunway Pinnacle

In conjunction with World Nature Conservation Day, Roche and Sunway Staff organised an E-Waste Collection Campaign at the Ground Floor of Sunway Pinnacle. This is to remove mercury and other dangerous materials, preventing them from reaching landfill and contaminating the earth. The event consists of a photo session with Roche & Sunway Team, followed by the collection of e-waste from both companies and ended off with lunch prepared by Roche Team. 74kg of e-waste was collected during the event.  

July 30th 2022 – International Day of Friendship @ Nationwide 

In conjunction with the International Day of Friendship on the 30th July 2022, team members from Sunway Property visited various of Sunway’s Business Units in each of their townships to give out a token of thanks in the spirit of friendship. July – Roadshows @ Nationwide 

In conjunction with Sunway Property’s Signature Series campaign, our sales team had joined various property roadshows to promote our signature projects, namely the Karnival Jom Beli Rumah at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, and at the Weekend Property Fair at Sunway Velocity Mall featuring Sunway Velocity TWO & Sunway Alishan. Both events were held from 15th to 17th July. Our sales team also promoted our signature projects at the Star Property Fair 2022 at Sunway Pyramid featuring Sunway d’hill Residences & Sunway Serene from 22nd to 24th July.

July- Monthly Sweet Events @ Sunway Property Galleries, Nationwide 

July has been an eventful and delicious month with many tasty delights being served at Sunway Property’s sales galleries.    

Sunway Belfield organised the “Scoop of Sweetness with Sunway Belfield”, followed by “Juice For You @ Sunway Belfield”. All walk-in customers received a free scoop of ice cream from them and a free cup of juice, which customers enjoyed while learning more about the project. 

Moreover, Sunway Velocity TWO organised the “Coffee Talk @ Sunway Velocity TWO” followed by the "Signature Mango Shake drinks by Da Mang Ren" at Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery. All walk-ins get to enjoy the Signature Cookie Cream Latte from "Beyond Coffee" and also the Mango Shake from "Da Mang Ren". Sunway d’hill Property Gallery also held a "Chill with Coffee" event at Sunway Giza Mall. This is to encourage more walk-in customers to learn more about the project while indulging in a tasty drink.
